Joe Mauer will remain a Twin through 2018. This is fantastic news. I'm suddenly very excited about the upcoming season. New ballpark, Mauer signed to 8 years, Jim Thome, Orlando Hudson....it could all make for a very exciting season.
Bummer about Joe Nathan, but I think we'll still be okay.
