1. Boxing Day by French Films About Trains
A rural Minnesota based band that I play shows with often, I downloaded their album as soon as they released it last, yep, Boxing Day. They recorded it at home in just under a week and it sounds superb. Love these guys and this album.
2. Charlatans at the Garden Gate by Tristen
I saw Tristen open for The Elected back in July of 2011. I bought the album directly from her at the show and have not stopped listening since.
3. Yankee Hotel Foxtrot by Wilco
I dug this album up again sometime last year and it completely consumed me. The songs are just so good that I see no reason to ever remove them from my iPod.
